Tennis club memberships available

Did you know there is a local LTA registered tennis club based at the T&T village hall.

We are a very friendly club and have an LTA level 3 coach for anyone wanting lessons.

In July we will be experimenting with walking tennis too. It uses slower paced balls and where two bounces are allowed. Suitable for beginners or those returning from injury, or no longer able to play the fast paced normal game.

T&T Village Hall Defibrillator

Pleased to let you all know that there is now a defibrillator at the village hall.

We hope we will never have to use it, but reassuring to know it’s there should we need to, not just for users of the hall but for the wider community too.

It is registered with the ambulance service, so if you dial 999 in an emergency you will be given the code to access it.

This has been possible due to many organisations in the villages working together, which is a great example of the community spirit we have here.

The defibrillator was purchased by the Phillips Price Fund Charity, The T&T Village Hall have paid for the installation and will cover ongoing electricity costs, and the T&T tennis club will manage the ongoing maintenance and checking of the device.
