Unfortunately I haven’t had time to meet with everyone individually, so I am planning to arrange a time to meet informally with any friends who would like to find out about my own property journey and to discover whether its something you would also like to do yourself. This property was bought at Auction and just required a quick refurb that included a new kitchen. Just six weeks from the hammer going down to tenants moving in. Total costs £55k, done up value £70K with a 8.9% rental yield.

We bought this property at Auction for £28,000. It had not been lived in for 11 years and was very distressed as you can see. Following refurbishment it is now tenanted and has a rental yield of 13%. Total costs including purchase price, legals and refurbishment £53,000 and we are expecting £70,000 + valuation.
