It’s crazy to see these actual photos taken the other day by Churston Builders, and remind ourselves that these are actual images, and not the computer generated images from 3 years ago of what we were planning to build.

06/02/2025. Lots going on. Wardrobes going in, second fix plumbing, feature wall for Master Bedroom, internal stone wall done (mirroring the outside), fibre broadband installed (and Broadband service ordered), edging ready for driveway going down. Must be almost time to order the flagpole.

28/01/2025: An important and stressful day today, we finally got our 3-Phase electric connection installed (thank you Octopus Energy), which means the under floor heating can be turned on to warm up the concrete, so the tiled floor can then be laid. More second fix plumbing completed, plus driveway being created. Also, the garden pavillion was erected - with nice dark blue soft furnishings with white piping - to continue a nautical, by the sea theme. We have also been discussing the landscaping plan, and booked the site survey for the car charger. And did I mention that BT OpenReach are digging up the road to install the fibre broadband connection? Lots going on.

22/01/2025. Do after a break for Christmas and New Year, it’s full steam ahead again. Stairs are in, plastering complete, fencing complete, doors going in, permanent connection to mains electric in, air source hear pump in, tiling continues, second fix electrics and plumbing underway.
