The Ground Investigation Survey took place on Monday!

We have elected to not only take samples regarding potential contamination outlined in the phase 1 study, but complete a Geotechnic study too so we can ensure footings have been costed correctly.

This will ensure we don’t overpay for the land as the groundworks will be accurately costed, but also means the delivery will be smooth as there will be no unknowns when we start digging.

With the full support of the vendor, we are completing a deeper level of Due Diligence, hence the delay in exchange of contracts.

Massive thanks to Jon Newsham from Dunore Utility Connections who has saved me from taking over a site which we wouldn't be able to demolish until the gas had been disconnected. Who knew that it can take so long (circa 12-14 weeks!!) to arrange traffic management on a trunk road!!

On site in Kidderminster to meet Jon Newsham from Dunore Energy and Demcom to discuss utilities. Also met Connells Estate Agent to go over the final plans - will post some images in a seperate post.
