Self-catering group accommodation in the birthplace of Lawrence of Arabia in North Wales Snowdonia, We are in our own grounds adjoining woodlands and fields.

Snowdon Lodge is perfectly situated close to both the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia and the beautiful sandy beaches and coves of the Llyn Peninsula. Yet only 2 mins walk to the pubs and shops of Tremadog & Porthmadog. We welcome all types of groups from those who want to just chill out for a few days, or those who want to participate in the widest choice of activities available. The Lodge is perfect for families and friends. Whether it is trekking up Mt. Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales, climbing on the nearby Tremadog Rocks, exploring the rocky coves of Borth-Y-Gest, or lazing on the beach at Black Rock Sands, everything is close, whether you are walking, driving or using public transport.

Lovely walk with the Poppy and Seren, 10mins from Snowdon Lodge, one of our favourite walks.

We call it the “Dragon Walk”. Also a perfect walk to spot and photograph the narrow gauge steam trains.

Celebrating the 138th birthday at Snowdon Lodge was his birthplace with many people visiting.
Thomas Edward Lawrence (16 August 1888 – 19 May 1935) was a British Army officer, archaeologist, diplomat and writer known for his role during the Arab Revolt and Sinai and Palestine campaign against the Ottoman Empire in the First World War. The breadth and variety of his activities and associations, and Lawrence's ability to describe them vividly in writing, earned him international fame as Lawrence of Arabia, a title used for the 1962 film based on his wartime activities.
