Well folks, that’s a wrap for 2025! It’s been an amazing year, meeting new people in the area, and welcoming back familiar faces.
Sal and I are always blown away by your patience and generosity, so from both of us we wish you all a great winter/Christmas/new year, and look forward to seeing everyone in march/april 2026 where we have some new ideas for the space and new menu treats (we promise the beach photos will be kept to a minimum 😎).

Sticking with the venison theme, it’s scotch eggs today, venison and black pudding! The venison burgers are still available, as are the pigs in blankets.
A quick word about tomorrow, we’ve got braised beef, colcannon mashed potatoes, spiced red cabbage, carrots, onion gravy and Yorkshire pudding, bookings advised so 07708 676382 is the number for calling or WhatsApp.

Back by request, and it’s perfect timing with this weather and Christmas just around the corner, it’s our pigs in blankets sub. Our homemade soft sub, sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce and pigs in blankets, a true lunch time warmer, you can add chips for just £2 and it’ll be on the menu from now untill we close!
Here untill 2 today and the marquee is doing its job nicely.

These guys are going on a well deserved rest, we have thoroughly enjoyed our first season with them. We can’t wait to see what 2026 will bring and what inspirations they will bring home with them for Easter opening.

So due to the weather, family commitments etc, we’ve got a closing date for this season. November 16th, will be our last trading day for 2025, we’ll be back for Easter 2026. So for those of you that can’t bear the winter without our sweet treats, and have a large freezer, we’re taking orders for cake. So we’ve trialled the donuts, jam, biscoff, Nutella, and lemon curd all defrost well, the carrot cake will be in traditional slices instead of muffins, and the brownies and flapjack as usual. Check out the opening hours

We are still here Thursday 10-4 and the Hideaway5Xings joins me with their food from Friday

Morning folks, so after last week, unfortunately we’re going to have to trim down our opening hours. I could try doing the week on my own, but you’d just get sub standard service, which is not what we’re about! We have cover for the weekends, so you can still get your burger/breakfast/donut fix, and I can concentrate on getting some fantastic specials on the menu. Thanks for you’re patience, and just so you're up to speed Sal, is bored stupid and wishes she could help out😎
