New in June: 12 properties, 4 branches, 1 local agent.

We’ve had a busy month so far, with plenty of new homes coming to market across Crowborough, Heathfield, Tunbridge Wells and Southborough. Have a scroll through and see what’s new.

If something catches your eye, here’s who to call.

Slides 1–3 | Crowborough For these three, speak to our Crowborough team. They cover the town and all the surrounding villages. 01892 665666 | [email protected]

Slides 4–6 | Heathfield Our Heathfield branch handles these. They look after Heathfield and the villages around it across the High Weald. 01435 862211 | [email protected]

Slides 7–9 | Tunbridge Wells Our head office in Royal Tunbridge Wells deals with these three, covering everything from flats in town to country homes nearby. 01892 511211 | [email protected]

Slides 10–12 | Southborough The Southborough team look after these, along with Bidborough, Speldhurst and the villages north of Tunbridge Wells. 01892 511311 | [email protected]

Book a viewing this June if you spot one you like. Good homes for sale in Kent and East Sussex don’t tend to stay on the market for long, and the early summer market is usually a busy one.

We’re a local independent estate agent and have been since 1981. Member of the Guild of Property Professionals. No pressure, no nonsense, just people who know the area and care about getting it right.

Save this post, tag someone who’s house hunting, and get in touch with the branch closest to the property you like.

Wood & Pilcher. Opening doors for you since 1981.

Move over Martin and Dion, the Wood & Pilcher team are the new Homes Under The Hammer presenters (not really)…and they’ve found a great one for you.

Introducing this rare and characterful unconverted Victorian Chapel for sale in Coggers Cross, just south of Horam village. Sitting on a corner plot at the junction of the A267 and Swansbrook Lane, this is a residential refurbishment opportunity (subject to the necessary planning permission and consents) packed with charm, character and a serious amount of potential.

Inside, you’ll find a beautiful main hall with a vaulted beamed ceiling and triple aspect arched windows, an entrance vestibule, a utility/storage room and a cloakroom. Outside, lawned gardens wrap around two sides of the building, framed by mature hedges, shrubs and flower borders.

The setting is lovely too. Coggers Cross sits just outside Horam village with its day-to-day shops, doctors, dentist, village inn and Co-op, with the famous Cuckoo Trail country walk close by. The market town of Heathfield is around five minutes away by car, with mainline stations at Buxted and Polegate offering trains to London, and Royal Tunbridge Wells just 16 miles up the road.

Guide Price £225,000. Freehold. No onward chain.
Please note: the property does not currently have residential planning permission, so it will need to be purchased with cash or via a commercial loan. Not suitable for a residential mortgage.

If you’re a developer, investor or simply someone with a vision and the right funding in place, this is the kind of project that doesn’t come along often. To arrange a viewing of this Victorian Chapel or to find out more, get in touch with our Heathfield branch today on 01435 862211 or email [email protected]. You might even spot a future TV presenter or two when you call.
