So, the ongoing saga/dilemma of our kitchen renovation….started off thinking we would go for grey units, then fell in love with really dark blue units, then worried that might make the kitchen too dark 😬 Current thinking is that a combo of the two would be best… grey wall units and a dark island. Apparently a dark island can make the room look larger 🤔

I'm visiting a friend tonight to help her create a gallery wall so thought I would share a few ideas with you! You can create a impactful gallery wall up a staircase, around a corner or on a feature wall in your home. It doesn’t need to be complex or take hours on end, it's all about bringing together your favourite pieces. Experiment with different styles and types of wall art – whether that’s a mixture of bold block colour prints, bright quirky patterns, black and white images or your favourite family photos.

Came across this old photo of our house a week after we moved in in 1999! It was our oldest daughter’s 1st birthday party ….. just a bit different to how it looks now! (Obviously more sunshine does make it look better too 🤣)

Phew! After a long drive we are finally back home from the Cotswolds, a place I couldn’t recommend more! Now that the cases are emptied and the washing on, I’ve had time to gather together my haul from all the gorgeous interior shops we’ve visited over the past week (and believe me this was me being very restrained! ) Mr G was heard to have said “ do we actually need any more cushions?” I mean, is that even a question? 😳 I think a wee online shop now that I’m home will be in order 🤣

Just had the best holiday in the Cotswolds and have totally fallen in love with the area. If only I had enough money to live there 🤣🤣 Not only does it have the most gorgeous villages and scenery it has all the fab interior shops that we don’t have in Scotland…
