This one was a challenge! Very old barn that required shot blasting to remove decades of paint.
Once that was off it was time to restore it, which was done by restoring the sandstone with lime products.
Looking great so far.

Previously fully coated in cement, cement removed, stone repaired where needed and then pointed with lime mortar.

Delighted with the results.

Celebrating my work anniversary. Feeling thankful for this

Can’t believe that ASM Restoration has been going for 10 years and still going strong with a healthy diary of work for the future . What started as a day off hobby while working in the car trade led to my own business after leaving the trade due to health issues.

Feeling fitter than ever and with great personal satisfaction when we give buildings a new lease of life and help to add real monetary value to clients properties both residential and commercial.

Onwards we go raising the standard of sandstone restoration in Ayrshire and beyond😁😁😁
