Another job started, a refurb of the of a Victorian property in Ventnor, consisting of various works over the top floor bathroom and windows, ground floor newel post, spindles and hand rails, all new door hardware and locks, re-tiling of fireplace hearths as well as the creation of a new shower room on the basement level, complete with hand basin and toilet. New electrics, vent fans with constant moisture monitoring and LED lighting, and a fully guaranteed Waterproof membrane system. All new skirting and the addition of a sliding barn door on the small cubby hole in the dining room.

More refurbishment work and dealing with ground movement on a temporary basis until a sound solution can be found, at the moment it is “ fire fighting “ the problem and all under the direction of the appointed structural engineer to the project.

Complete hinge replacement on all the windows with special marine grade 3” & 4” hinges and the reinstatement of the chopped out water channels !, beyond me why they were cut through in the first place.
