One of our lovely ladies, Geraldine, celebrated her 100th Birthday on Saturday!

Her family arranged a party and took her out. We made up Cornish presents for her as we know that she would like them, these included: Cornish soap, Cornish Biscuits, Cornish made scarf, Cornish mint chocolate, Cornish fudge, and her most special present a Cornish pasty keyring.

We had fun with the magic water painting, and some ladies created pictures of our local church. Accompanied by some nice music, this was a very enjoyable relaxing afternoon.

The people living with us were very proud to invite family members to a coffee afternoon, selling items made by themselves, staff and family members. We teamed this up with a Christmas sing along, hot chocolate, mince pies and a fantastic performance from our residents playing the hand bells.
