Over 125 trees planted🌲Thousands of bulbs and plants carefully positioned to enhance privacy, attract wildlife, and bring the landscape together.

1. Pinus Radiata
A striking evergreen, Pinus Radiata thrives in coastal conditions, providing year-round greenery and a natural connection to Cornwall’s rugged landscapes.
2. Corylus Avellana (Hazel)
A familiar hedgerow favourite, Hazel brings a sense of heritage to the landscape. As it matures, it will offer dappled shade and a seasonal shift of colours.
3. Eleagnus Umbellata
A tree with silvery-green leaves and fragrant blossoms, Eleagnus Umbellata provides a natural screen while attracting birds and pollinators.
4. Field Maple (Acer Campestre)
The only native maple in the UK, Field Maple is known for its compact form and golden autumn hues, adding warmth and character to the site.
5. Pinus Sylvestris
The Scots Pine, with its signature orange-tinged bark and elegant form, is a nod to nature’s resilience, standing tall against the elements.
6. Pinus Watererii
A slow-growing pine with a sculptural quality, Pinus Watererii offers rich green tones and a beautifully structured silhouette.
7. Quercus Ilex (Holm Oak)
A timeless Mediterranean species, Holm Oak is a symbol of strength and longevity, with dense, glossy leaves that provide shelter and privacy.

A shared language of design.

Koto worked with to carefully select furniture that complements the cabins and reflects our shared values of natural materials, longevity and thoughtful, timeless design.

The result is an interior that feels connected to the landscape and offers a warm, understated retreat on the Cornish coast.
