Now that all the Easter eggs have been devoured, the days are getting longer and warmer and the season will soon be upon us.
If you were thinking of the Middle East for a holiday, Wesdale is a great alternative but not as hot!
We still have the week of 26 June to 3 July available which must be one of the best weeks of the year, just before the school holidays.

First Polzeath Community Film Festival is well under way at the Tubestation and has already been drawing in the crowds.
Finale will be a showing of Saving Grace at the Regent in Wadebridge with a special appearance and commentary by the man behind it and Doc Martin - Mark Crowdy.

Uncertain if he will be giving our special samples though!

Glad to report that Wesdale weathered Storm Goretti very well, although our guests reported that the "sound of the wind down the chimney was a bit scary". Takes more than 123 mph winds to put a dent in Wesdale! Proper Job.

Polzeath Christmas day swim
We can’t forget one of the most beloved local traditions... the Polzeath Christmas Day Swim! Starting at 11am, the golden sands come alive with Christmas hats, laughter and the brave souls ready for a festive dip before dashing back into their big coats. Pack a flask of Baileys hot chocolate to warm up afterwards, or, if you’d rather stay dry, enjoy the spectacle from a cosy seat at The Atlantic, watching the sea of Santa hats from above.
