Brexit uncertainty not putting homebuyers off!!

Brexit and political uncertainty is not putting people off buying and selling homes, according to local estate agency Allen & Harris in Wallingford

As part of its national network Sequence, Allen & Harris recorded that the number of homebuyers registering an interest in purchasing a property in July 2019 had increased by 9% compared to the same time last year (July 2018).

“The number of buyers registering with us since the start of the year shows that, despite uncertainty around Brexit, people are still keen to move forward with their plans to buy a property,” says Patrick Dyer, Branch Manager at Allen & Harris “Despite some reports of the housing market being in the doldrums, we have also seen an increase in sales compared to this time last year, showing that the market is moving and those looking to sell their homes are likely to find a buyer quickly.”

“I would advise anyone looking to sell this year to get their property on the market as soon as possible,” continues Patrick “With more buyers entering the market, there is the chance of your home selling quickly and for the right price.”
