We had an excellent experience with Barleycorn Removals for our move from Caversham to Lyme Regis and would happily recommend them. A particular thank you to Chris, who managed the whole process. From our first meeting, we immediately liked his calm, professional and friendly approach. His communication was excellent throughout and he was always very clear about how the move would work, what was required from us, and what we could expect at each stage. As with any significant house move, a few issues arose along the way, some of them completely outside his control. Chris dealt with everything calmly and professionally, always focused on finding a solution and keeping things moving. At no point did we feel that our possessions were anything other than in very safe hands. Chris went above and beyond to make sure the whole process ran as smoothly as possible, and he and his team worked incredibly hard to make our move a success. What particularly stood out was that putting the customer first is clearly not just something Chris says — it is something he demonstrates in the way he works, and something he has clearly instilled in the rest of his team. Moving house can be stressful, particularly over a significant distance, but Chris and the Barleycorn team made the whole experience considerably easier. Professional, hardworking, careful and genuinely pleasant people to deal with. We would have no hesitation in recommending Barleycorn Removals.
