One of Brendan’s first ever viewings gave him a shock — he opened the door to find his old primary school teacher standing there. That’s not something they cover in training.

Brendan is our Sales Negotiator here in Waltham Abbey. A local through and through, he knows the area inside out, and says his favourite part of the job is catching up with familiar faces while meeting new ones.

Outside of work, you’ll find him at Apollo cafe or training at The Muscle Lab, depending on his mood, or whether there’s an Ibiza trip on the horizon.

In the office, he’s self-appointed chief parking monitor, keeping a nervous eye on the near misses out the window. 🚗

Pop into our office and you might spot George with no shoes on and brightly coloured socks 🧦 — he treats the place like a home from home... unfortunately.

George is the Director of Castles Waltham Abbey, having grown up in the area and learned the trade in this very office nearly two decades ago.

We often take bets on whether he’ll come back from a viewing or valuation with a story about going to school with the seller, or them knowing his mum or auntie. It really is a small world round here.

Outside of work, he’s kept busy by his two boys, aged 4 and 2. Sleep is a distant memory.
