Another great project finished
8 mews houses in Tetbury backing onto the marina.
High spec, low energy homes for a small independant developer Chaddleton Homes based in Bristol.

We have also finished this oak framed kitchen extension in North Oxford for a private client and are currently working on concept design for a new Carbon Neutral home just outside Salisbury.

QiE Design have been designing Climate Positive Building around Oxfordshire for a number of years including when Head of Design at Greencore Homes.
Our houses cost a few hundred pounds a year to run and not thousands as is the normal.
We also renovate older houses more Eco Friendly and cheaper to run.

We work with small contractors, developers and clients to ensure you have the best information available including design coordination with MEP and Sustainability. We look at value engineering, best practice, buildability and offer sound design advice including interior design.

We are happy to advice you on your project and have a range of fees from a half day/full day rate to total project costs.

QiE also advise on improving your properties sustainability options from 100 year old properties to modern houses, commercial premises, hotels, carehomes, healthcare etc.
This includes working with Housing Association Property Portfolio.

QiE Design has just received planning consent for a number of new projects in Oxfordshire including lifting the roof on a 1960's bungalow to create a modern eco house in Steventon including solar panels, electric boiler and battery store, warm roof construction and a new high performance timber frame side and rear extension.
The project also includes a smart system house which controls the house throughout including occupancy heating, lighting and operational usage.

The second project in Childrey, includes linking a house and annex which whilst accessed to both on the ground floor, had no shared first floor, two staircases, halls and front doors, bathrooms etc.
We have designed a doube storey glass and oak extension linking the two parts of the property with access to all parts via a new landing and re configured internal layout to suit this growing families needs.

QiE is please to be working with Storvik FM on a number of Projects including an old pub conversion into flats.
We are carrying out architectural, Design Management & QS services for Storvik on the project which includes all local authority approvals, Fire Strategy and Planning.
The Ground Floor is still to be determined for the use.
QiE have woked with Storvik for many years and this is the latest project we are undertaking.
