When visiting The Tower a trip into the nearest town, Wareham, is a must! Find out the local history in the fabulous free museum, and visit the lively market on the quay on Saturday mornings. There’s lots of great places to eat and drink, a variety of shops, and pretty riverside walks. You can even catch a ferry from here to Brownsea Island, or hire a kayak to take a trip down the river yourself!
