Great to be working in Bath, carrying out network upgrades along the riverbank pathway under a full footpath closure.

Safety and environmental responsibility are at the heart of the job, with battery-powered tools and plant being used throughout to help minimise noise, emissions and impact on the surrounding area.

With a NRSWA-qualified team managing the works and VacEx excavation being used to reduce the risk of service strikes, we’re able to work safely in what is a heavily congested underground service area.

With water supplies under increased pressure, responding quickly and safely to leaks is more important than ever. VacEx is assisting R&M by providing safe excavation around existing services, helping expose the affected assets and giving the repair teams the access they need to get works completed efficiently.

A good example of different teams working together to protect the network, reduce water loss and keep disruption to a minimum.

It was fantastic to see first-hand the incredible work the team carries out every single day, and to gain a better understanding of the vital service they provide across our communities. Thank you to everyone at Wiltshire Air Ambulance for the warm welcome, informative tour, and for sharing the amazing work you do.
