2 weeks into our latest extension project in Runcorn and we’ve made great progress in a short time. We used piled foundations on this job due to poor ground conditions and trees close to the boundary.

A little job we did last week, taking the old window out, moving a gas pipe and a socket out of the way, cutting the brickwork down to dpc and then fitting a new picture window with the new glass unit weighting 100kg.

Really enjoyed working on this project for our lovely customer. We had 60 tonne of earth to remove first of all to make room for the extension and then the patio and then a high water table meant that we had to use piled foundations but once we were out of the ground we made great progress. We love the finished project and so does the customer which is what it’s all about.

That’s us done and shut down for Christmas now and ready for a rest. Merry Christmas 🎅

Our current project in Runcorn is ready for electrics, plumbing and then plastering internally now we’ve finished the roof, fitted the aluminium roof lantern and upvc window and doors. On the outside we will be starting the sleeper rearing walls all around the raised garden and then 60m2 of Indian stone paving. Keep you eyes out for the updates, we think it will be a great use of space once it’s done and still keeping a good sized garden.
