Nothing beats a walk along Weston-super-Mare seafront on a day like today. ☀️
Golden sands, miles of beach and plenty of fresh sea air. I always love watching the mix of people enjoying it - horse riders, dog walkers, runners, cyclists, OAPs and new mums out with the prams.

Everyone doing their own thing, but all enjoying the same bit of coastline.

Days like this make you realise you don’t have to go far for a proper little escape. ❤️

Why September might be the best time to visit Somerset. 🍂
Yesterday, I walked the footpaths to the top of the farm, and honestly, this is a view I will never get tired of.

The peace and quiet. The fresh country air. And, of course, getting to pick blackberries along the way.

Not a soul in sight. Just miles of countryside, and that wonderful feeling of having nowhere else you need to be.

September in Somerset really is something special. 🤎

Wedmore Harvest Home today. There was a procession of floats and a luncheon in a marquee at the playing fields. This was followed by children's games and races and tea in the marquee. This evening there is live music and a disco. Well done to all the organisers. It was a mammoth undertaking and a fantastic day was had by all.
