**Because Venetian Plaster is lime based combined with marble dust, it is made with less harmful chemicals, which makes it hypoallergenic, as well as mould and algae resistant, not to mention the fact that Venetian Plaster can also regulate humidity. In addition to the above, I can now offer External Wall Insulation (mainly for solid wall but not limited to), with BAUMIT silicone render. Here we go now

So, this is the second coat I have laid on the sample board.
I have to say, it wasn’t easy to apply, despite making the mix a bit looser

Anyway, you’ll see what I mean when you hear me on the video

Hi again
Took a bit of a break from the Microcement videos, as I had another job to go to 😁

This is a L-shaped bedroom where the ceiling needed over boarding as it wouldn’t have been safe to skim over the current (flaky) Artex

With a bit of help from my youngest (bad sciatica pain), we boarded the ceiling, so I followed with the skimming of both ceiling and walls.

Well here it is
The third video now, showing the first coat of the Microcement being applied onto the sample board.

I did say that it is creamy consistency but that was on the bucket itself. However, looking at the amount I had placed on the trowel, this could have been slightly looser. I also found this when troweling it on as it was pulling (drying) too quickly to the point that when trying to flatten a few trowel marks, it was dragging the gear off.

Oh and the stuff is soo hard to remove from the trowel once it dried.

I would have to work very fast 😰

Microcement tester kit.

I have received this kit last couple of days and I will be making a sample board with it. Hopefully this will live up to the expectations, but time will tell.

The best part is that it comes in two coat batches, so no guessing or measuring up. Looking promising so far.

I’ll wait until this heat fades away then I’ll be starting working with.
