We’re incredibly proud to share some fantastic news…
Margaret James has been awarded a GOLD AWARD FOR SALES in the Best Estate Agent Guide 2027! 🥇🏡
And this one feels particularly special, because it marks the third time in just seven years that Margaret James has been recognised by the Best Estate Agent Guide. 🏆🏆🏆
This isn’t simply an award you enter or win through a public vote. The Best Estate Agent Guide independently assesses estate agencies using whole-of-market property data, looking at the things that genuinely matter when selling a home.
Their assessment considers 14 different performance measures, including:
⭐ The percentage of properties successfully sold
⭐ How quickly properties go under offer
⭐ Progression towards exchange
⭐ Asking price versus price achieved
⭐ Price reductions
⭐ Withdrawals and fall-throughs
⭐ Sales agreed and market performance
⭐ Google ratings and customer sentiment
Importantly, agents are assessed at a hyper-local level, measuring their performance against the other agents operating in their own market.
So, for a small, independent, family-run estate agency like Margaret James, achieving GOLD for Sales for 2027 – and being recognised for the third time in seven years – means an enormous amount. ❤️
It reinforces something we’ve always believed: great estate agency is about far more than putting a property on Rightmove.
It’s about getting the strategy right from day one, presenting homes properly, reaching the right buyers, negotiating the strongest possible result and then working tirelessly to get the sale through to completion.
