Always a pleasure Jodie & co !! I’ve run out of words to tell you each year how much we’ve loved our day and how highly we think of your huts & small business but just know that our Happy Hut Day is a highlight on the calendar !! 🥰 We had a lovely time in The Bear Hut this year and oh saving our trip for the very, very last day of the summer break saw us with a beautifully quiet beach. Thank you as always - we’ll be back next year x

Now I know it’s a little early for the C word but we have some exciting news…

🎄 Christmas at The Happy Huts is back! But BIGGER than ever...

This December, 9 Happy Huts will be opening their doors for the festive season, giving you the perfect excuse to wrap up warm, head to the beach and enjoy a little seaside magic.

From 19th December to 4th January, our festive huts will be ready for cosy winter beach days, with each hut offering its own special festive touches.

🎅 Choose your festive hut

With 9 huts taking part, there’s plenty of choice and each one will be a little bit different.

£60 per day
£70 per day at The Boat Shed & Bear Hut

🎄 Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day

Fancy having your own Happy Hut across Christmas?

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day must be booked together as a special 3-day booking.

£150 for all 3 days (Happy hut & Ilador are already booked)
£180 at The Boat Shed & Bear Hut

These dates aren’t available to book online, so please email us to arrange your Christmas booking 📆

Making beach days more accessible 💙

We’re really pleased to introduce our new Beach Accessibility page on The Happy Huts website.

We know that a day at Wells beach can look very different for everyone, and we wanted to make it easier for you to plan your visit with as much information as possible before you arrive.

Our new page brings together:

♿️ Beach wheelchair hire information
🚻 Accessible toilets & Changing Places facilities
🅿️ Blue Badge parking information
🌊 Step-free routes onto the beach
🎥 Videos showing the routes from the car park to the beach
📍 Maps and What3Words locations
🏖️ Details of our most accessible beach huts, including the number of steps and approximate walking time

We’ve also included honest information about the terrain, sand, ramps and woodland paths, because accessibility isn’t one-size-fits-all and we want you to be able to decide what will work best for you and your individual needs.

Our aim is simple: to help more people enjoy a Happy Hut day at Wells beach 💙

Did you know we also look after a rather special holiday let right here in Wells-next-the-Sea? 👀🌊

Sleeping 9 guests across 5 bedrooms, it’s dog friendly 🐾 and just a stone’s throw from the quay making it the perfect base for a Wells getaway.

We think it’s pretty special… but don’t just take our word for it 😉✨

We’ve just opened up availability for 2027, so if you’re already dreaming about next year’s Norfolk escape, now’s the time to take a look!

Christmas Tide is Wells’ annual day of festivities, and this year it falls on Saturday 12th December 🎄✨
