March 2026 – Union House, London - CAT A+ refurbishment, Project Commenced.

Works have now commenced on site with initial activities including strip out works to both floors in preparation for refurbishment works.

The project scope includes new floor finishes throughout, supply and installation of bike racks to the ground floor cycle store, and the formation of new internal walls, ceilings and doors to the ground floor.

Additional works include blocking up the existing lift entrance and staircase and redecorations throughout. Mechanical and Electrical works will also be undertaken to suit the new layout and building requirements as the project progresses.

January 2026 – 60 Bishopsgate , London – CAT B refurbishment, Project Completed.

This project involved a complete soft strip bac to the shell for Parts Level 1 and 6.

A new fitout tailored for the incoming tenant, featuring new acoustic glazed meeting rooms, along with a combination of glass and solid timber doors. The existing steel frame was stripped back, fire treated, and decorated to align with the exposed services theme.

The existing WCs were removed and reoriented for direct access from the office floor, with four new cubicles and a Disabled WC featuring bespoke joinery and LED lighting. A new bespoke joinery kitchen, coat cupboard, and furniture were also installed, all resting on a new wide laid timber floor.

September 2025 – Knights House, London – Roof refurbishment, Project Complete.

The project instructed is for the refurbishment of all roof areas including canopies and to provide a new warranty and certification through Garland.

Supply and install new balcony soffits and free standing guard rail around 4th floor roof.

July 2025 – Mewes & Davis | Level 6, London – CAT A+ refurbishment, Project Instructed.

The project instructed is soft strip and CAT A+ to Level 6. The works are all to a high specification to suit the high quality already throughout the building.

Works include the formation of 5 new meeting rooms, glass fronted with mixture of glass and solid doors. The WC layout will be altered so they are directly accessible from the office floor, with a full refurbishment.

The office floor will have new timber floor throughout incorporating new floor boxes. The existing steel structure will be taken back to its raw form, new decorations throughout to provide the exposed services theme.

Had a great day yesterday raising funds for the incredible 65 Degrees North charity at Holland & Holland. Honoured to support such a meaningful cause!

It was inspiring to see so many people come together in support of a cause that makes a real difference.

Eldon House // Project Complete.

The project was the comprehensive refurbishment of all floors of the building internally and externally.

Internally: Structural Alterations to create an improved flow of space, New WC Fitout at each floor level, Ceilings, Raised Floors, Drylining, Exposed Brickwork, Exposed Period columns and beams, Exposed services fed from new Service Risers, Reception upgraded & / fitted out, with new wall panels, fire place & marble floor finish, Staircase upgrades/fitout, mezzanine floors reworked so connect directly to main office floors, decorations and high-level finishes throughout.

Externally: New rooftop plant, replacement Schuco windows, Cleaning of façade brick & stonework, new glass and steel raked mansard along Wilson St at 6th floor level, all topped off with a new 7th floor pavilion glass/clad extension.

PROJECT COMPLETE // 27 Wardour Street.

The project at 27 Wardour street included both CAT A and CAT B refurbishment works. The ground and basement levels underwent a full CAT A refurbishment, creating a versatile blank canvas for future tenants.

The refurbishment on the 1st to 3rd floors focused on CAT B residential upgrades. This encompassed the installation of fire rated ceilings, new partitioning and comprehensive decorative works.

Additionally, the project featured new modern kitchens, bathrooms, ensuites and bespoke joinery along with improved flooring and tiling. Finally, a complete overhaul of the mechanical and electrical systems was implemented.

PROJECT COMPLETE // 5 Saville Row, London - Check out the professional photos of the Job from the job, we posted last week. Great photos by Ben Thomson.

This project is a CAT B refurbishment of the existing ground floor office within the building, facilitating a tenant’s relocation to the newly updated space.
Works included the restoration and cleaning the existing metal pan ceiling, with a mixture of new and existing MF borders and decorations throughout.
The office space now benefits from new double glazed meeting rooms and fully equipped custom joinery kitchenette.
New M&E works were undertaken to freshen the space up including new lighting and servicing / relocation AC to suit new office layout.

May 2024 – Eldon House, London – Structural Extension & CAT A refurbishment, Project Update.

A huge congratulations to all MICA PROJECTS LTD staff, operatives, and subcontractors, working on the Eldon House Phase 2 project, for their outstanding efforts and perseverance that was key to winning the prestigious Gold Award through the City of London’s Considerate Constructors scheme.

The works involve the extensive Structural alterations, additional floor and CAT refurbishment throughout the entire building.
The Gold Award is a brilliant example of Mica’s dedication to maintaining high standards on every project and we are honoured that our Eldon House project team’s commitment to excellence has been recognised with such a highly respected award.
