Hello.

Today I was doing some work and listening to Coldplay and one of my favourite songs came on and it sort of sums up how the world is feeling right now.

"Hold tight for everyday life" is one of the lines in the song. "Throw arms out open wide" is another. I know these things seem far away at the moment but hopefully they will be part of what we have and can do again in the not to distant future.

In the meantime be kind, look after each other, call someone/ zoom or facetime you haven't spoken to in a while. I am sure they will appreciate it.

As a vast majority of us are now working from home 🏠 something caught my attention today 🤨
My wife is doing everything she can to keep warm 🔥 as she works away in her office 🏢 sometimes I have to save myself from falling over with laughter 🤣

So here are some tips to keep yourself warm during this cold spell and help you save some pennies.

Wear more clothes, put on a big woolly jumper 🧥

Turn the heating down slightly as a few degrees wont change the room temperature much but will save you money £

Doors and letterboxes can let in cold 🥶 air so make sure you insulate them properly 🛠🧰

Try to put the heating on to guard against frozen pipes as this can be an expensive repair 👷‍♂️

Take a hot water bottle to bed 🛏 instead of putting on the expensive electric blanket 🥵

As my mum would often say 'Ne'er cast a clout till May be out' Old Scottish meaning for keep your clothes on until summer 🤣

What should you do if you have your 🏡 on the market during Christmas 🎄

De clutter, make rooms spacious and tidy with the Christmas 🎄in a corner or window position.

Have mulled wine 🍷 on alcoholic or non alcoholic, mix with lots of spices such as cinnamon , nutmeg and cloves to make the house smell amazing. Viewers will 💛 it.

The smell 😋 will make them feel at home and create an image of doing it for themselves.
