A beautifully formed radius wall bringing the flow to proceedings in the Old Town, Margate.

Formed from timber and boarded in sections to produce a smooth curved wall when the plasterers have worked their magic...

Designed by the architect to emphasise the entry into the kitchen area and to lose that 'straight-line' feel a little in the apartment...

Last job of the week... we've had a little pause on this lovely listed building but should be able to crack on in the next couple of weeks....

A first in that we've built an internal chimney, top to bottom and through the roof in approved materials....

This project is a good test of Old Town's capacity to navigate various local authority departments, the client's instruction and current workflow, we shall overcome 👊🏻

Day 4 of current Old Town projects this week and we're in sunny Cliftonville....

By far the worst of the vids so far as the clients could hear every word and I was feeling a bit awkward!! Forgot to mention half of what we've done 😛 They had a laugh though...

No decs or flooring but plenty going on....

Structural alterations to the rear allowing a new set of doors to be fitted, utility room formed off the kitchen, two new bathrooms with UFH, Victorian tiling front and rear, bespoke stairs, handrail and understairs storage...

Nearly there with this one...

and the third Old Town project of the week is a rather large roof, 210sq. metres to be precise...

We have completely stripped the old roof and fitted a warm-deck constructed fibreglass replacement, complete with new fascia and soffit.

Dodging the recent weather a little with this one, but considerable savings to the clients with not having a tin-hat so we've muscled through to this point...

May hasn't been typical nor kind!! ☔️ However, set fair for the next few days so looking forward to getting this completed.

Second current Old Town project of the week...

A full refurbishment of a Victorian mid-terrace in Ramsgate...

Full scope here, structural alterations, re-jigged layout, aluminium doors, engineered wood flooring, re-wire, re-plumb, new kitchen, two bathrooms and a utility, along with full carpentry package and decorations.

Such a beautiful property, with a mix of the old and new in the finishes... a lot of surprises as you'd expect with a property of this age and size, but methodically working through to completion.

Big shout out to .ltd for their work here, an awful lot of preparation has gone into this. The retained original features all looking great 👏
