The problem with most estate agencies isn't the agents. It's the handovers.
Here's how a typical sale runs at a corporate or high street agency.
You meet the valuer. They're charming, knowledgeable, and never seen again. The listing is handled by a lister. Viewings done by a viewing assistant. Offers negotiated by a sales manager. The chain is chased by a sales progressor. The exchange is overseen by someone you've never spoken to.
Six different people. Six different priorities. One of your biggest financial decisions of your life, broken into a relay race.
Now imagine the same sale handled by one person. The person who valued your home is the person who lists it, photographs it, hosts viewings, negotiates offers, calls the solicitors, manages the chain, and stands next to you on completion day.
That's Personal Estate Agency. It isn't a marketing model. It's a working model. And the difference shows in everything from how quickly your call is answered to how confidently your sale is held together.
If you're moving this year, ask the question before you sign: who will I actually be working with? You'd be surprised how rarely the answer is one name.
