T H R O U G H T H E H E D G E - no dragging required!

The Great Yew Hedge at Cirencester Park on the Bathurst Estate is the world’s tallest yew hedge, standing approximately 43ft (13m) tall and over 500ft long; at it’s base it is 30ft deep.

Last Thursday stepped through the hedge at the kind invitation of Lady Bathurst and Laurence and Jackie Llewelyn-Bowen who are arranging a fundraiser for the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals. Being a dog lover, she did not take much persuading – and learned a great deal about how much these incredibly trained animals do to keep us safe and the help they need and deserve when they retire.
