We have availability in July 3 night, stay starting on Friday 28th July departing on Monday 31st July payment will be required in full @ £570 as it’s only just a few weeks away the cottage sleeps 4 people and 2 fur babies. This includes full use of our Hot Tub, fluffy towels and bathrobes.

We have the following dates available;

Blackbird Cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps four, is dog friendly for 2 dogs.

Formerly a fisherman’s cottage located in the hamlet of Iburndale, Whitby, North Yorkshire and dog friendly too.

Come and see the basking seals at Runswick Bay, fishing at Whitby, surfing at Sandsend, fossil digging at Robin Hoods Bay, Puffins until about July on the cliffs around Filey and build sand castles at Boggle Hole.

From the Cottage you can go walking and hiking to explore the woodlands and fields around the village or the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Grosmont, Whitby or Harry Potter’s or Heartbeat’s village at Goathland. Take a leisurely walk into Whitby, just 4 miles!

See the North Yorkshire Moors, appreciate the heritage and wildlife, this is an inspiring place to visit at any time of year.

Its less than 15 minutes to local shops in Sleights or the dog friendly CAMRA, Plough Inn. You could be a world away from the city hustle and bustle.

From the golden sandy beach just 5 miles to Sandsend surfing beach, 15 minutes from Robin Hoods Bay the Wainwright's famous Coast to Coast Walk ends its journey from St Bees in Cumbria at Robin Hood's Bay.
