We’re closing our door for a week this month. After wrangling with planners we are finally getting the double glazed sash window.
No more steamy mornings in the living room!!
And even more peace and quiet from the world outside to play a board game or wind down and put on Netflix.
And what better time to redecorate. We hope you like the new colour.

Welcoming guests back from Monday.
We’ve made good of the downtime and treated you lovely people to a new kitchen with dishwasher and instant hot water tap so you can have that well deserved cuppa after your journey without waiting for the kettle to boil!! And as always there’ll be a pack of Bothams biscuits waiting to be dipped!!

The latest glowing reviews from a couple of lovely guests.
The shutters have a arrived at long last and will be going in the bay window this week.
The front door to the building has been replaced.

After five weeks of late nights and weekends the cabin is finally, (almost!) ready.
Massive thanks to Mike Brown Joinery Service for all your help, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Thanks too to Mike Burnett at MKM for all the help and advice and pointing me in the right direction for some great quality materials.
Unfortunately the shutters for the window are still going to be another eight weeks and the curtains have gone up and we’re not keen. So new curtain shopping tomorrow.
Thanks for all the likes and comments over the last few weeks and please share with your friends so we can get our little holiday let up and running.

The new oak fire door is here. A lovely replacement to take place tomorrow. First for a few coats of varnish.

A productive weekend. Only the finishing touches left in the bathroom and the new colour has had a coat in the main room.
