Back in 1995, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway was already bringing smiles to families with Friends of Thomas the Tank Engine weekends - steam rides, games, and that unmistakable magic of meeting everyone’s favourite blue engine.

Fast forward to today, and that magic is still going strong…

There's less than one week to go until the opening night of Illuminated Abbey. 👻🧛‍♂️🦇🌈

On Friday, 24th October, Whitby Abbey will once again be illuminated with all the colours of the rainbow as English Heritage prepares to welcome guests around the Abbey in the darkness. It's a fantastic family-friendly event. We can't wait to see your pictures and experience the entertainment first-hand. See you there!
