An incredible day at the Healthier Heroes Track Day with Mission Motorsport at Three Sisters Racetrack 📣

Our very own Paula and Amy were proud to join Dan Searson from Challenge the Wild & Consultant for Healthier Heroes CIC and Andy Powell from Bancroft House - both veterans who understand just how powerful the right support can be after service.

We’re honoured to support UK veterans living at Bancroft House, Morgan House, and those accessing Healthier Heroes' Veteran Community Hubs.

Big thank you to Steve and his team from BEC

They have been working hard the last couple of weeks helping to prepare the site ahead of Eat Street Cumbria!

Today they have been out removing any litter and vegetation for the final preparations before we but the marquee up on Sunday!

We’re off to Leeds! UKREiiF takes place in a month’s time, and BEC are proud to be involved 🙌

We’ll be joining the Cumbria Pavilion as a key partner, alongside Cumberland Council and Enterprising Cumbria, to showcase our major developments, including Pioneer Park.

UKREiiF, running from May 19th-21st, is a conference to unlock investment and drive regeneration and development across the UK, accelerating economic growth.

It’s a free, interactive experience designed to bring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) learning to life- and you can book your space now!

Created with support from Sellafield Ltd and academic partners, the trail blends outdoor exploration with digital technology in a way that’s fun, engaging and easy to access.

Ideal for Key Stage 2 and 3 students, the trail teaches pupils on areas like solar energy, photography and much more- plus a dedicated app to keep the learning hands on! 🙌

Whether you’re a school, family or simply curious, it’s a great way to inspire young people and spark interest in future careers.

On Tuesday 17 March, BEC's Armed Forces Ambassador Mark Armstrong and John Lee from Escape Education will be rough sleeping on the Whitehaven harbourside to raise funds for homeless military veterans.

They are taking part in The Great Tommy Sleep Out, which supports veterans facing challenges such as PTSD, housing difficulties, employment issues, and wider welfare needs.

They will be outside Whitehaven Harbour’s Edge Coastal Activities Centre from mid-afternoon on Tuesday until early morning Wednesday.

After that, they will relocate to the Dine Café at Westlakes Science Park when it opens on Wednesday morning.

Please come down to Whitehaven Harbour to show your support, say hello, or visit them later outside the Dine Café.
