🌸🏡A guest who has just booked a stay in October asked me today if the Summer House would be warm enough to sit in and read a book.

The answer is absolutely yes. When the sun ☀️ shines, the Summer House heats up beautifully like a little greenhouse. I’ve sat there curled up comfortably on the sofa in February, enjoying the warmth of a sunny day and the uninterrupted sea views, peace and quiet.

And for cooler, cloudier days, there’s an electric heater that warms it up very quickly. I’ve also just added a beautiful new 100% Irish wool blanket, perfect for wrapping around yourself while you settle down with a good book or just gazing at the sea.

The Secret Garden in Bloom 🌺🌷🌼🪻🪷🌹

This spring we’ve left parts of the garden to grow a little wilder.

Instead of a perfectly manicured lawn, the buttercups, daisies and wildflowers have been free to bloom, creating a natural meadow that’s alive with colour, bees, butterflies and birds!

There’s something so much more beautiful about a garden that follows nature’s lead. Guests can wander through the flowers, sit with a coffee in the Summer House and enjoy the sea views while the garden puts on its own seasonal display.
