Credit to the new Building Safety Regulator for improving standards and preventing residents moving into an unsafe new build, but it is disappointing to see current construction practices with awful shortcomings even in 2024. Nice to see the conclusion of the external redecoration work for some of the flats we manage in Boughton. Residents seem impressed with the attention to detail from the contractors, and we made the most of the scaffold by identifying and repairing some roof damage to avoid future leaks and minimise repair costs since scaffold was already in place.
