⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“I honestly couldn’t fault a thing!”

One of our lovely recent guests at Lake View left us this fantastic review after a family stay — and even managed to capture the Northern Lights from the bedroom window. 💜💚

“The property was immaculate, beautifully decorated and clearly very well cared for.”

“The views were stunning, and we even captured the Northern Lights from our bedroom window, which made our stay extra special.”

“I genuinely couldn’t recommend this place enough and would return in a heartbeat!” ❤️

Reviews like this genuinely mean so much to us, particularly when guests notice the little things we work hard on behind the scenes — cleanliness, comfort, communication and making the properties feel properly cared for.

And that view certainly delivered this time! ✨

We talk a lot about the views from Lola’s Loft, but this really shows just how special they can be at any time of the day or night.

🌅 Beautiful sunrises
⛰️ Views across the surrounding mountains
🌊 Views towards Lake Windermere
🌇 Gorgeous sunsets
✨ And, if you’re lucky… even the Northern Lights!

Guests have also had some brilliant views of the fighter jets on training flights over Lake Windermere — always an impressive sight when they appear! ✈️

🎉 500 REVIEWS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎉

We’ve just reached a milestone that we’re incredibly proud of — our 500th Airbnb guest review! ❤️

And we couldn’t have asked for a nicer review to mark it:

“We stayed for just over a week and this place was absolutely perfect for our stay… The house itself is pristine and has everything you need… We had a great stay, and would highly recommend this property.”

When we started welcoming guests to our Lake District properties, reaching 500 reviews wasn’t something we ever really thought about. Every review represents somebody choosing to spend their holiday with us — whether for a weekend away, family holiday, anniversary, walking break or a trip away with the dogs. 🐾🏔️

We put a huge amount of effort into making our properties somewhere we’d genuinely be happy to stay ourselves, but we certainly don’t do it alone.

❤️ A very special thank you has to go to our wonderful housekeeping team, and particularly Michelle. Maintaining the standards our guests have come to expect across busy holiday properties takes an enormous amount of hard work behind the scenes. So many of our reviews mention how spotlessly clean and beautifully presented the properties are, and that is a huge credit to Michelle and the team. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you. 🧹✨

And, of course, a massive thank you to every guest who has stayed with us, returned for another visit, recommended us to friends and family, or taken the time to leave a review. We really do appreciate every one.

A special thank you as well to the guests who unknowingly left review number 500 — and made it a 5-star one! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Here’s to the next 500! 🥂

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Guest Feedback ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We received this lovely message from guests staying at Woodland Cottage, one of our Lake District Properties this morning:

“We’ve had such a lovely time here. Your house is so welcoming and comfortable! Everything we have needed is here and its location is superb. The shower is fantastic and the overall standard of accommodation is first class. There is nothing we suggest to make the place any better.
Feel free to share this feedback. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay.
Thanks again for such a lovely stay!”

A huge thank you to Laura and family for taking the time to send such kind feedback. Messages like this make all the hard work worthwhile and mean a great deal to us and our housekeeping team.
