Thank goodness for some better news on the interest rate front. Perhaps this will allow some certainty in a market that has been doomed with fear for nearly 2 years. No one expects rates to plummet but just a hard stop to the regular rises is very welcome.

Longing to buy your own home? To buy now or not to buy now? So much advice out there - it’s hard to know what to believe? The prediction of 5% drop in prices (everything from 2-10% bandied around at the moment) is it true of this area? What is true is that there’s never been a better time to negotiate on price. As we know, Ascot has always been resilient and bounces back. What’s a little more predictable are the interest rates - they are never going to drop down to the low-low rates we’ve all enjoyed.
