📢 Important Notice for Chalet Owners

We sent out the annual invoices to all chalet owners on 20th February, with payment due 24th March.

We have recently had a number of owners contact us to say they have not yet received their invoice and we are concerned that some may have been lost in the post.

If you have not received your annual account, please contact the office as soon as possible and we will arrange to send a replacement.

🔌 Electrical Safety – It’s Not Just a Legal Requirement, It’s Peace of Mind 🔌

If you own a chalet – whether you rent it out or use it privately – regular electrical testing is vital to ensure the safety of your property and those who use it.

For those who let out their properties, it’s a legal requirement under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020 to have a valid Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) carried out at least every 5 years. But even if you’re not renting, good maintenance is essential – old or faulty wiring can pose serious fire and shock risks.

⚠️ Dog Owners: Beware of Adders This Spring/Summer! 🐍🐾

As the weather warms up, adders—Britain’s only venomous snake—become more active, especially in heathlands, woodlands, and coastal paths. Their bites can be very dangerous to dogs.

What to watch for:
• Adders are usually grey or brown with a zigzag pattern ➰
• Often found basking in the sun near footpaths or grassy clearings ☀️

If your dog is bitten:
1. Keep your dog calm and carry them to reduce venom spread 🚫🏃‍♂️
2. Seek immediate veterinary attention 🚑
3. Never attempt to treat the bite yourself ❌

Stay alert and keep dogs on leads in known adder areas. Better safe than sorry!
