A little throwback to this timber pergola we completed a few months ago. 🌿

A lovely addition to the garden, creating a really defined outdoor seating area while still keeping it open and letting plenty of light through.

We built the pergola from scratch to suit the space, and it was great to see how well it fitted in with the existing patio and garden.

Even better, the client took the time to leave us a lovely review afterwards, which is always hugely appreciated. It genuinely means a lot to our team when customers take the time to share their experience.

A lovely kitchen refresh recently completed by our H&OB Painting Division 🎨

This one was carried out by Luke, our talented painter who runs the painting side of H&OB, and he’s done a great job bringing this already lovely kitchen back to looking fresh and bright.

Painting and decorating is something we offer as a service on its own too, whether it’s one room, a kitchen like this or a full house redecoration.

A nice little landscaping job recently completed by Charlie 👏🏼

The client wanted some new timber borders added to help finish off the garden and create a bit more structure around the patio area. Nothing over the top, just a really tidy job that has made a big difference to the space.

Even nicer was getting this message from the client afterwards:

“Charlie did our job to an excellent professional standard. He is very good at communicating what he is doing, why, and timings.”

That sort of feedback means a lot to us.

We’re a family-run business, and we’ve always believed that doing a good job is only part of it—being friendly, keeping people informed, and treating someone’s home with respect is just as important.

It’s been such a pleasure being part of this project and watching your vision come to life. ❤️ It definitely had its challenges at times, but seeing the finished result makes it all worthwhile.

Throwing it back to this lovely loft conversion we completed last year! ✨

What was once an unused space is now a bright, welcoming new area for the family to enjoy. We love how the clever use of space, including the built-in shelving, keeps everything feeling open and practical, while the Velux windows and the client's choice of light, neutral colours fill the space with natural light.

It's always nice to look back at projects like this and see how a little imagination can completely transform a home. 🏡

Michele and Stuart have just returned from a very special family holiday, celebrating an incredible 20 years of marriage! 🥂❤️

Twenty years is certainly something worth celebrating, and it was lovely for them to have some well-deserved time away with their family to mark such a special milestone.

While they were away, the lovely clients at The Lord Kitchener opened their doors! We’ve been hearing some great things and have seen lots of lovely reviews online from our clients’ friends and family, which has been so lovely to see.

It wasn’t all plain sailing, and this old building definitely liked to keep us on our toes! But every challenge was worth it, and we’re so pleased with how it’s all turned out. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We’ve also been incredibly lucky to have such lovely clients to work with throughout the process. It’s been a real pleasure getting to know them, and after all the time spent working together, we genuinely feel like they’ve become part of the H&O Building family. ❤️

We’re hoping to arrange a professional photo shoot soon so we can share some proper before-and-after photos with you all and show just how far this project has come. 📸

We’re delighted to see The Lord Kitchener open its doors and wish our clients and everyone involved every success in their beautiful new space. We can’t wait to pop in ourselves soon for some food and a drink and see it all in full swing! ❤️

Throwback to one of our favourite kitchen transformations.

We completed this renovation last year and have recently had the opportunity to go back and take some professional photographs.

It's always nice to revisit a project and see how well it's settled into family life. We think this bright, timeless kitchen looks just as good today as the day it was finished.

Thanks again to our wonderful clients for welcoming us back. We hope they continue making many happy memories in their beautiful new space. 🤍
