🏡 From an overgrown, fenced off patch of land… to a brand new space for Shrewsbury! 🌿

When plans for the new Abbey Foregate Pocket Park were first announced, we shared the news on our page and now it’s almost time for the official opening, this Thursday! 👏📅

We popped over last week to check in on the progress and what a difference already! 👀

And that was last week… so we can’t wait to see how much more has changed when it officially opens!

The finished Pocket Park will include public seating, free WiFi, bike hire, secure cycle storage, a huge mural and the Wilfred Owen Community Garden 🌳🚲🎨

It’s great to see this little corner of Shrewsbury being completely transformed into a space for the local community💙
