Plant Room Leak Made Safe & Stable ๐Ÿ”ง

We attended a retirement housing site following reports of a water leak within the plant room.

On inspection, a 50mm plastic service valve was identified as the source of the leak. Due to the pipe size, valve specification, and restricted positioning within the plant room, the issue required a specialist commercial approach.

The valve was carefully assessed on site and the system was managed in a controlled manner to prevent further escalation of the leak. The appropriate isolation and repair works were then carried out safely and effectively by a commercial engineer.

โœ… Following completion, the leak was fully resolved and the system was left in a safe, stable condition. The plant room was checked to ensure no further signs of water ingress were present.

Our engineers attended site to strengthen security measures across two buildings while the property remained unoccupied.

The project involved supplying and installing drop bar security systems to x4 fire exit doors, complete with padlocks for added protection. During installation, doors were packed out and fittings altered on site to ensure the systems operated correctly and securely.

While carrying out the works, our team also identified an issue affecting the fire exit doors. A previously installed weather bar had been fitted incorrectly on the hinge side, restricting the doors from opening fully and potentially impacting emergency exit use.

โœ… Our engineers adjusted the setup during installation to improve door operation and ensure the access points functioned more effectively.

We attended a site on behalf of a property management company following reports of a communal front door failing to open properly from the outside and becoming stuck when closed.

Upon inspection, our locksmith identified a sticking door latch causing the issue. Adjustments were carried out onsite, restoring the door to full working order and ensuring smooth opening and closing again

โœ… Further inspection also identified excessive wear and tear to the existing handles and lock, with recommendations provided for replacement to help prevent future issues.
