A slightly disappointing post to have to write.

At approximately 3.30pm yesterday, Sunday, a gentleman came into the Worly Hub, picked up three pieces of Martha’s Magic home baking and left without paying for them.

The Hub is covered by CCTV, so we have a clear record of what happened.

Martha is only 12 and has been really excited about starting her little baking venture, making everything herself and trusting people to pay using the honesty pot.

If this was you, please just come back and put the money in the pot. No fuss, no embarrassment — just do the right thing.

Stealing is never OK, but taking from a 12-year-old who is having a go at something new is particularly disappointing. 😔

We’d much rather this was simply put right and we can leave it there.

Thank you to everyone else who has supported Martha so far — she really does appreciate every purchase. ❤️

PART-TIME GARDENER WANTED – WORLINGWORTH HALL IP13 7NS

We are looking for a reliable and practical gardener to work approximately two days per week at Worlingworth Hall.

The role will include:

• Maintaining the main house and holiday cottage gardens
• Mowing, strimming, weeding and hedge cutting
• Keeping the yard and farmyard areas tidy
• General seasonal gardening and outdoor maintenance

All necessary tools and machinery will be provided.

£15 per hour

Hours and days can be flexible for the right person.

Previous gardening experience and the ability to work independently are important. This is a hands-on role, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping outdoor areas looking tidy and well cared for.
