Woolacombe Apartment A two bedroom holiday apartment, sleeping four with one dog welcome, in the centre of Woolacombe, North Devon. Just a few minutes walk to the main beach.

We’ve been welcoming guests since 2007. See www.woolacombeapartment.co.uk for full details This ground floor, two bedroom, apartment is a two minute walk from the fantastic beach in the seaside village of Woolacombe. The apartment consists of:

- one double bedroom with kingsize bed, wardrobes with wooden hangers, chest of drawers, two bedside cabinets and bedside lights, an alarm clock and hairdr

yer;
- one twin bedroom, wardrobe, bedside cabinet and bedside light;
- lounge/dinning room with Smart TV, DVD player, two sofas, dining table and dining chairs;
- bathroom with bath with shower over and toilet. Bath sheets, shower mat and hand towels are provided
- well equipped large kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, electric cooker, gas hob, toaster and fridge/freezer;
- two south facing balconies with sea views, one suitable for two people and one that comfortably seats four;
- dedicated off road parking space for one car;
- access to a separate storage facility suitable for bicyles, golf equipment, surf boards (max. 10 ft) and hanging wet stuits;
- cotton bed linen is provided with two pillows per person

WiFi is available throughout the apartment. A travel cot and high chair are also provided. The front door to the accommodation is at street level. The parking space is easy to access but is at basement level that requires climbing a small rise and number of steps to reach the front door of the accommodation. The storage area is also at this lower level. With prior arrangement we will accept a dog except during July and August. There is a charge of £15 if you want to bring your dog and this is to cover additional cleaning costs.

Still looking for a seaside holiday during the school holidays? We currently have a few weeks available at Woolacombe Apartment – our family-friendly two-bedroom apartment, just a short stroll from Woolacombe’s award-winning beach in North Devon.

📅 Available school holiday weeks:
• 18–25 July
• 25 July–1 August
• 29 August–5 September
• 17–24 October (sorry no beach huts though)
(These dates cover school holiday periods across different parts of the UK.)

If you’re visiting Woolacombe please do go into Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre on The Esplanade - they offer so much from gifts and local goods and guide books and have fantastic knowledge of the local area. You can even just get a coffee/tea/soft drink, sit outside and enjoy their view of the beach.

Just two weeks to go until our Calendar Photography Competition closes!
Here’s everything you need to know …
We’re on the lookout for stunning images of Woolacombe, Mortehoe & Lee for next year’s official calendar.
Think you’ve captured a prize winning shot? We’d love to see your best photos of our beautiful coastline, villages and landscapes.
A few things to keep in mind before entering:
• Landscape orientation only (no portrait shots)
• Photos must be clearly recognisable as Woolacombe, Mortehoe, Lee or the immediate surrounding area
• Minimum file size: around 1MB
• Please ensure images are high quality — straight horizons, no light flares, crisp focus
• We’re looking for photos from all seasons
• No close ups of people — distant figures only, please
• Email entries to [email protected]
• If sending multiple images, please send 2–3 per email so the inbox doesn’t get overwhelmed!
DEADLINE: Sunday 15th June
Winning images will be credited to the photographer, and contributors will receive a complimentary 2027 calendar as a thank you.

Putsborough Beach is at the far end of Woolacombe bay. It’s a great beach popular with surfers and has a great cafe which opens all year.

You can walk to Putsborough either via the beach or Marine Drive and then the coast path. From Woolacombe, Putsborough is also about half way to Baggy Point so a perfect place to stop for a drink or ice cream. 🌊☀️🍦

Woolacombe really does get some fantastic sunsets. During the summer the sunsets are towards and over Lundy Island and then as we move towards the shortest day the sunsets move towards Baggy Point before then moving back towards Lundy from late December.
