Our quaint and beautifully presented, award-winning holiday cottages are tucked discreetly into the foot of the Cheviot Hills near Wooler. Some of the land on which they stand is within the Northumberland National Park in an area of outstanding Natural Beauty. Places and attractions such as Alnwick, Bamburgh, Holy Island, Seahouses, Alnmouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Craster are all a short drive away. We are the perfect base for walkers, couples, families with children of all ages and star-gazers. We also love having your four legged friends to stay!

Alnwick Castle hosts its Northumbrian Piping Weekend on 19–20 September, celebrating centuries of local music and heritage.

Visitors can hear the distinctive sound of the Northumbrian pipes while discovering more about their history and place in Northumberland’s culture.

Glendale Show returns to Wooler on Saturday 29 August.

One of the biggest dates in the local calendar, Glendale Show brings together agriculture, livestock, local food, crafts, entertainment and hundreds of trade stands.

A little glimpse of life at Cheviot Manor & Bothy Barns…

It’s always lovely to see guests making the most of their time with us and enjoying the Cheviot Goat while they’re here.

We recently welcomed members of the Ford and Etal Cycling Club, who made us their pit stop before getting back on their bikes for the journey home.

We also had these three guests staying at Cheviot Manor for a couple of days while attending a wedding in Alnwick with time for a well-earned drink at the Cheviot Goat before the celebrations.
