Our quaint and beautifully presented, award-winning holiday cottages are tucked discreetly into the foot of the Cheviot Hills near Wooler. Some of the land on which they stand is within the Northumberland National Park in an area of outstanding Natural Beauty. A lot of people are surprised when they find out Cheviot Manor & Bothy Barns started life as a working sheep farm.

Now it’s somewhere families, friends and couples come to escape for a few days, but the history is still everywhere you look.

Some are happier with a weekend away, a good pub, a bit of sunshine and a chance to properly switch off for a few days. ☀️🍻

Bank holiday weekends just work better when the sun decides to show up ☀️🌿

The forecast’s looking pretty good for a while too, which means slow mornings outside, evening drinks in the sunshine and finally being able to properly enjoy the Northumberland countryside without five layers on.
