Having survey kit stolen isn't just expensive. It can leave your team shaken and your projects on hold.
Here's some good news for GSA members with vehicles in the Greater London area. A free Vehicle Watch Scheme, run with the Met Police, is now available. 🚐
A tamper-proof reflective sticker tells officers your vehicle shouldn't be on the road at night, usually between 10pm and 4am. They can stop it straight away if they spot it. There's also an "any time" version for teams working night shifts or out-of-hours surveys.

It's free to fit, and there's no GPS tracking. You can get it installed at TVL Group HQ in Essex or at one of the trade and tool marking days.

If you do have a theft, please report it to police and to NCATT. Every report helps track down the gangs responsible. 💪

The GSA Conference and Awards Day is coming to Coventry on Friday 6 November 🎉

It's always one of our favourite days of the year. We’ll be cheering on our latest GSA Surveying Course delegates and apprentices as they celebrate their achievements, and catching up with members from across the profession.

We’re also thrilled to welcome racing driver Nicolas Hamilton as our keynote speaker. 🏁

Nicolas was born with cerebral palsy and is the only disabled driver ever to compete in the British Touring Car Championship. He’s living proof that anything is possible, and we can’t wait to hear his story.

There’ll also be the latest news on The Geospatial Accord, our campaign to put geospatial surveying first.

We're now the Geospatial Survey Association (GSA), as voted by our members back in August.

You'll have seen our new name appearing on our website, emails and social channels over the last few weeks.

We've also launched The Geospatial Accord, our national campaign to make sure geospatial surveyors get brought in earlier, get recognised for their expertise, and get valued for more than just price.

Building on the Stakeholder event in March and with months of discovery work initially badged as the Unity Charter, we have launched The Geospatial Accord: a collective commitment to put Geospatial Surveying at the heart of the UK’s future.

The Accord will bring organisations together behind a shared ambition to:

⭐ Strengthen standards and specifications
⭐ Secure earlier professional involvement
⭐ Improve procurement practices
⭐ Raise recognition of qualified Geospatial professionals
⭐ Build a stronger future skills pipeline
