One of the most rewarding aspects of being a facilities service provider is being able to build strong relationships with good facilities managers on site. Nick is Technical FM at a large Cardiff leisure and fitness facility where Oakland is responsible for HVAC service and repairs (Yes, it is sometimes sunny in Cardiff!). Nick has a challenging job balancing the building's constant demands with tight budgets. It's always a pleasure to work in partnership with customers like Nick who share our commitment to maintain and improve their facilities. Let's hear it for our site facilities managers!

Another completed installation today for Oakland’s projects department.

Two new ducted AC systems installed in a client’s loft area and a wall-mounted AC on the ground floor.

Modern high-spec property with a very high level of finish, so particular care has been taken over this project to ensure the client got exactly what they were expecting.

Another successful heating installation for one of Oakland's proudest HVAC maintenance customers. Richard's Hospice provides valuable care and treatment to adults with life limiting conditions who require specialist palliative and end of life care.
Following a full upgrade by Oakland to the building's main boiler plant last year, the additional gas boilers serving the Snowdrop extension required a replacement flue design due to leaks and poor serviceability. In partnership with Engineering and our friends at , tricky access to the rooftop through the beautiful wellbeing garden was not a problem and two new concentric flues were installed that will serve the existing boilers and future replacements for many more years. When Silverstone Museum wanted to change their ticketing and retail counter, to separate them and them for efficiency and to ease pedestrian traffic and crowding during event weekends, they approached Oakland for a solution.

Using ideas from the staff at the Museum we made render drawings for discussion and then approval from the senior board.

This led us to manufacture new till points to each side of the atrium, along with new display walls for retail and a new larger store room beneath the existing stairway.
