Another buzzy day for us at bee kind. These bees started their day in our customers flat roof and ended it in our hive. Another happy customer and we promise the bees will be happy in there new home soon. 🐝🐝🐝

A swarm collected from malpas recently and a truly sad story.
When collecting a swarm like this we can usually march them into a hive and close the door, but this swarm just wouldn't stay in there (we tried and eventually got about a third closed in the hive). So now it is time for our bee vac that can safely Hoover up bees and transport them to their new home. We carefully hovered up all but a small group of about 30 bees that were all balled tightly around a single lifeless queen who had sadly passed away🙁.
We placed these bees in our very own ICU and gave them everything they need to produce a new queen (I will do a separate write up on this one day when I have more time).
I hadn't posted about these bees at the time of the collection as sometimes it can be a little hit and miss when trying to re-queen a colony of bees, six weeks on and I can now happily say that these bees have in fact produced their very own queen and have doubled if not tripled in numbers. Another successful bee rescue and another reason to believe us when we say "we really do love our bees and will always do everything in our power to help them thrive"

Look at these beautiful bees😍 unfortunately they made their home above someone's from door in the porch roof. While conducting the survey for this job we decided that going up through the hall ceiling was the cheapest way to access the bees to safely remove them. Now all in a hive and yet another happy customer🐝🐝🐝

Emergency extraction of an un-noticed hive from last year that swarmed the wrong way and filled the house with bees. The customer was amazed that they had lived in a house with 25000 bees and never noticed them coming and going. All now safe in a hive and being supported by our own in house bee keeper until they re-establish in their new home 🐝🐝🐝 save the bees 🐝🐝🐝

Bank holiday Monday...... Well it's not a day off for us as this commercial premise is closed and this colony of bees had to be moved to pastures new. (The blue door is one of two access doors to a repair garage and the bees were not always happy to see customers wanting their car repaired). Now all rehomed in a hive and we will continue to support them until they completely re-establish in their new home🐝🐝🐝🐝 save the bees🐝🐝🐝🐝
