A wander around the city walls, a stop for coffee, little independent shops, riverside walks and plenty of good food spots tucked away down side streets.

“Very well located for a weekend in Ilkley. Only a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely house in a very quiet residential area. Enclosed garden was ideal for our dog.”

In York, it’s all about wandering the city: the Minster, city walls, riverside walks, and plenty of cafés and independent shops to stop off at.

Head out to the coast and places like Whitby and Sandsend are perfect for beach walks, fish and chips and time by the sea.
