GENERAL BUILDER AND/OR LABOURER WANTED

We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Builder or Labourer to join us on a employed or self-employed basis.

We work on a range of quality residential projects and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can work well as part of a team or on their own.

The ideal candidate will:

- Have experience in construction (general building or labouring)
- Be hardworking, reliable, and punctual
- Be willing to learn and take direction
- Ability to work independently
- Have a good attitude and strong work ethic
- Hold a valid driving licence (preferred but not essential)

Why have we been quiet? Because our focus has been on this...

- Re-development of two of our own properties in Bishopthorpe (coming to the market Spring this year) - one a four bedroom semi-detached house with the best garden and one a four bedroom semi-detached dormer bungalow

- Focus on a large client extension, including side and rear - which is getting to the point where we are helping our client choose finishes

- Reconfiguration of a client's home to include a bespoke staircase and steelwork - flooring being fitted next week

- Planning for 2026 - we thank everyone for their support which means larger projects are being assessed for October/November/December

- We are a family run local builders with a young family, which means we understand what it means to have building work carried out in your home but it also makes us too busy for social media too!

We are looking forward to exciting plans in 2026.
