Today we're talking toilets π½π§»
A loo is a loo right? We thought so until we came across the dreaded Saniflo*, but is it a fair to avoid it?
In our latest refurb, we chose to remove an existing Saniflo toilet to replace it for a traditional toilet waste. BUT this took time, money and effort ππ΅πͺ We dropped the waste to the ceiling below, which also picked up the waste from an additional bathroom we added.
We like it because we don't have to worry about tenants using the system incorrectly (at least, not as much! π€¦) or concerns about the noise they make, especially in the night.
But Saniflo have their place, sometimes enabling toilet or bathroom facilities to be integrated where they otherwise wouldn't be able to.
So, do you ever integrate Saniflo or do you avoid it like we have? π€β
